The importance of Quebec breeding

The current miniature horse standard has been  defined in the USA in 1978  AMHA, recognized worldwide for having established a very distinct breeding miniature horse breed. The horse should not exceed 34 inches. On the other hand the AMHR, have two size sections: Section A up to  34 inches and Section B from 34 to  38 inches.  And we are proud that our breeders continue to perpetuate this standard, by selecting the best subjects when mating and who are AMHA and/or AMHR registered.
